Toilet Paper Roll
How to make the Toilet Paper Roll Turkey Craft
Trace your kids’ hands on the construction paper.
If you are using white construction paper versus the brown, have your child color the white hands brown.
Cut out the hands.
Squeeze the toilet paper roll about a fourth of the way down gently. You don’t want to place a seam on the roll. Using the scissors, snip the roll just enough to be able to lift the flap.
Use the Elmer’s and glue all the hands together. Be sure to arrange the colors so they are not all grouped together.
Place a little glue on each hand palm.
Keep doing this until all the hands are glued together.
Fold – without creasing the hands in the center.
Place Elmer’s glue on your fold. Place your toilet paper roll on the glue with the snipped side facing out.
Have your child(ren) hold the whole craft in the palm of their hand so the glue can set on the toilet paper roll.
They are starting to look like a turkey craft now! Its time to add the googly eyes.
Place a little dab of Elmer’s on the back of the googly eyes and place above the snipped area.
Almost done! Cute so far, right?! Grab your red crayon and color the turkey’s wattle.
And… you’re done! Super cute and amazingly simple!
What crafts do you do for the fall or Thanksgiving? Id love to see your versions of the Toilet Paper Roll Turkey Craft!
