Halloween is a lot of fun for kids of all ages. In my home, my children are all about the dressing up and Halloween crafts. This year they wanted to take something to their classrooms for the Harvest Parties they were throwing. We came up with these Halloween Candy Hands and they were so excited. They put them all together, with little help from me. By using simple latex gloves (which usually cost about a penny each), we created these spooky-looking hands. We love how eerie they look!
We filled ours with a mixture of Halloween candy and, to make them extra fun, you can add in other little surprises like spider rings, stickers, erasers or other small trinkets. Just make sure you don’t include anything TOO big or your hands will be all lumpy!
We love doing our spider webs, mummy dogs and melted witches every year. Now we have a new tradition to add to our list with these fun candy hands.

What You Need:
You will need the following to create your candy hands.
- Candy – You can either buy it online or run to your local dollar store. Get a variety and make sure you have smaller pieces.
- Latex Gloves
- Plastic Spider Rings or other small trinkets
- Orange Yarn
- Scissors
Directions:
Grab a latex glove and smaller pieces of your candy to fill the fingers.
Once the fingers are full, add the bigger pieces of candy or trinkets to the top to make the palm.
Pull out about 4 inches of orange yarn and cut it off. Tie a knot at the top of the glove to close it.
Wa-la! Your Halloween Candy Hands are complete. Repeat steps until you have as many as you need.
