St Patrick’s Day is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick ( c. AD 385–461), the foremost patron saint of Ireland. Majority of people celebrate this day with anything and everything green they can possibly get their hands on. From green clothing all the way to what they eat. There is now even a theory that if you do not wear green you may get pinched by others. Some children leave their shoes out so that the leprechaun can place candies inside them by the morning.
