It is almost August! Where has this summer gone? It seems as if just yesterday the kids were getting out of school for the summer to start. Now its time to start thinking school supplies, sack lunches and after school child care. Although, many parents are excited for school to start. I know I am. It took about a month for my kids to start arguing and throwing fits about toys, or this or that. With school starting the house will be all to quiet once again.
With the summer coming to an end and new school supplies lists coming out, I wanted to put together a little reminder of a few things I feel are staple items for the school year. Every school district is different so these items are generally required items for all ages. Obviously crayons and markers are items that we just know all the kids will need.
Back To School Supplies Must Haves
AmazonBasics Backpack – Because what kid wants to carry all their books by hand?
Jumbo Stretchable Book Cover – Protect your school books with covers. Is it just me or do most kids these days not understand what these are for?
CamelBak eddy Back to School Water Bottle – I learned the hard way that most classrooms don’t offer a water fountain for kids anymore. Having a water bottle on hand is a little more convenient for your child and wont interrupt the class.
Bentgo Kids Children’s Lunch Box – School lunches aren’t always the best for your kids. Those with special diets to follow find themselves packing a sack lunch everyday. These lunch boxes have different compartments to make storage easier.
12″ Locker Shelf – I remember when I was in school and having books upon books piled at the bottom of my locker. I wish now that I had a locker shelf to help organize my belongings for school.
Student Planner 2016-2017 School Year Planner – Some school districts offer a planner/adgenda at registrations, some do not. This planner would be great to keep everything in order!

Homecube Pencil Case – Those plastic pencil cases seem to break so easily. This one is softer and zips closed!
