Halloween is a lot of fun for kids of all ages. In my home, my children are all about the dressing up and Halloween crafts. This year they wanted to take something to their classrooms for the Harvest Parties they were throwing. We came up with these Halloween Candy Hands and they were so excited. They put them all together, with little help from me.
What you need
You will need the following to create your candy hands.
- Candy – You can either buy it online or run to your local dollar store. Get a variety and make sure you have smaller pieces.
- Latex Gloves – You can get a big box of these around $4-6
- Plastic Spider Rings – optional
- Orange Yarn
Grab a latex glove and smaller pieces of your candy to fill the fingers.
Once the fingers are full, add a little more bigger pieces to the top to make the palm.
Pull out about 4 inches of orange yarn and cut it off. Tie a knot at the top of the glove to close it.
Wa-la! Your Halloween Candy Hands are complete. Repeat steps until you have as many as you need.
Aren’t these awesome for classroom parties!? What ideas do you have for classroom handouts?
